SECURITY DEPOSIT


A $500 security deposit will be required before your arrival on [arrivalDate], otherwise the lock code will be deactivated. The security deposit will be returned to you according to the payment method you used to send it within a maximum of one week after your departure on [departureDate]. We must wait for the cleaning team's report confirming that the house premises were respected during your stay. If unfortunately, the house had suffered one or more damages (burned counter, stain on furniture, broken equipment, house left in an extremely dirty state, improper use of the SPA, theft of an object, etc.) we will send you photos, a report of the damage as well as a claim for the amount of the damage. If the amount of the repair/replacement is less than your deposit, we will return the difference to you, otherwise you will receive a claim considering the $500 of your security deposit.


RENTAL TERMS, RESPONSIBILITIES & REGULATIONS

  • The building may only be used for holiday purposes.
  • The tenant may not assign his rights under the rental agreement or sublet the property.
  • If the tenant does not leave at the time specified in the contract on the day of departure, additional charges may apply.
  • The tenant is responsible for material and bodily damage occurring on the land and in the rented building during the rental period, for any reason whatsoever, except for material damage resulting from construction defects, lack of maintenance, natural and technological disasters, and any damage normally covered by the Gatherer's home insurance policy. The tenant agrees to hold the landlord harmless from any claim made by anyone resulting from the damage for which he is responsible.
  • The tenant must immediately notify chalet KDSP of any BREAKAGE OR DAMAGE caused during their stay.
  • The tenant agrees to leave the chalet in the same condition as upon arrival at the end of the rental period.
  • No smoking in the building. Please pick up your cigarette butts if you smoke outside.
  • Proper use of the SPA, as indicated below.
  • You must comply with the code of good conduct of the municipality of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François. Guide to good conduct

If any of the chalet rules are NOT respected during the stay, the owner reserves the right to evict you with a penalty and without any refund of the stay.

USE OF THE SPA

  • Safety is paramount when using the spa during your stay. It is your responsibility to follow the instructions and ensure extra supervision of children. Furthermore, we are not responsible for any damage caused by improper use of the spa. You will be charged for any equipment damage deemed abnormal. In addition, if we have to completely empty the spa and add water due to improper use, there will be a fixed fee of $300.
  • Upon your arrival, the spa has been inspected by our technical team and is ready for your stay. Please contact us as soon as you become aware of any breakage or malfunction. We ask that you respect the equipment so you can fully enjoy your use.

Minimal spa maintenance is performed twice a week by the MP Service technician team. The team may be available to service the spa during your stay.
